Manager is an individual who manages people. People are his resource & he utilizes his people effectively. In other words, he is able to know more, understand them more & also able to get the most out of them within the limited frame.

What makes a manager excellent?

1. Manager’s excellence is not always about getting productive results but letting the workmen know that he is capable of discharging his functions at a much higher level.

2. Manager’s excellence is not always about understanding the working skills & competencies but also inculcating human values to make him a well rounded person.

3. Manager’s excellence is not always about getting the tasks done but also make him a part of a winning team.

4. Manager’s excellence is not always about getting accolades for the tasks well done by his team members but when things go wrong, he owns the responsibility.

5. Manager’s excellence is not always about knowledge, skills, competencies but also bringing about a brilliant attitude amongst people.

6. Manager’s excellence is not always about knowing a subject well but also taking prompt action without delay.

7. Managerial excellence is not always about taking a centre stage when the production is high but stands behind his men who have made this possible.

Excellence is from within & it cannot be taught in any Management Institutions. It is a power which comes from inside to do the best possible without any expectations. It is unleashing one’s potential to the fullest when you appear in your stage of work.
